Lads day out at motorcycle live. Great to meet the Machine Shop team. Oisín smashed out a weld that makes me wonder whether engineering's genetic! Thanks for putting the biggest smile on his face.

Today, I'll remember mates no longer with us, and our time rebuilidng a school during that tour. Now I'm teaching - mad.
With a full 7 period day, I hope it's a gentle one.

Gutted to have pulled out of speaking at #rED24 yesterday, but delighted that the response was "Family first, always." Without cover for this little one after the midwife being needed, I'm glad organisers understood. Thanks @hgaldinoshea.bsky.social & @tombennett71.bsky.social for your support.

Preparation is key when you're doing a nut & bolt motorbike restoration. A challenge Oisín set himself for his DofE silver award. He'll be recording the whole thing for YouTube as well as producing his official logs.

The last time there's a picture of us before her surgery tomorrow. This cleft lip and palate journey is twenty years down the line, with a shorter journey ahead of us as a family.
I remember tears after her lip repair. Tomorrow will be just as emotional.
