Farage tactics are same as Trump - in this case playing on his base’s insecurities - most of them probably hated school too, they blame school, govt and immigrants, for all their problems

I might have had Cameron above Major on leadership but only just but he made the gravest error of any post war Tory PM with the referendum. Leadership would have been just ignoring Farage.

Thoughts with you Reece. Lost my Dad last year - still hurts - but he helped me so much with stories and anecdotes in his later years about his early life - life before me - and as the family historian that stuff is gold dust you can never get from Ancestry or findmypast

Yeah I think a better analogy would be to size the neighbourhood and the income levels and compare it to invested income of billionaires. With £6.5bn a modest growth of 6% (doing nothing special) equates to £390m a year or £32.5m a month or £7.5m a week or £214k per working hour for a 35hr week

I joined the Lib Dem’s in 2019 because they were the only party opposing Brexit. That was the only policy that mattered to me in 2019. Anything else was acceptable collateral damage. It took me two years after the 2020 GE to get my membership stopped - apparently there was a backlog!

Really feeling it for all the “patriots” who spent days putting up flags only to see them shredded, battered and torn to bits by Amy. No doubt they’re blaming the Met Office for allowing it to happen having conflated them with “Sir Sharia Khan’s Met Police”.

100% agree. Racist to the core and has been since he was a schoolboy in Dulwich. His peers from school have said so, his teachers have said so, his own actions in politics are totally focussed on racist policies. We ALL need to say it. LOUDLY.
