A throwback to year 2008, Transport for London consulted on replacing bendy buses on routes 38, 507 and 521. Views were mixed; double-deck buses were planned for 38, single-deck buses for 507 and 521, with minor timetable and ticketing changes.

In the UK, LRT was known as London Regional Transport, which operated from 1984 to 2000. It was the predecessor of Transport for London and was overseen by the Secretary of State for Transport.

Warsaw, Poland has ordered 120 Solaris articulated buses to modernise its fleet, with deliveries from 2026 and an option for 100 more. The low-floor vehicles will have CCTV, air-conditioning, solar panels and alcolocks. Solaris already supplies 1,750 buses.
