But also: even if they are drug traffickers our military cannot legally kill them under these circumstances. I fear focusing so much on proving they are not “bad guys” diminishes the point that it shouldn’t be happening regardless of who is in the boats.

It’s all just a game to these people. It’s infuriating.

The brave men and women who serve in our national guards must not be used as political props. This is a moment where every American must speak up and help stop this madness.
