Needed some brightening up. So a friend and i decided to start a knit a long inspired by the ski lodge sweater that's making the rounds. Had to pick a lighter gauge yarn. And we're partially following Ann Budd's pattern logic. #knitting

I'm glad this current project is just a vest. This is the last fingering weight garment i did. Noro Silk Garden sock cardi. I was calling it my Molly Weasley sweater.

I was sick in bed most of the weekend, but i got a lot done knitting through a stash of Kauni yarn and making the Space Invadersy vest I've planned to knit for some time.

I used cracked anisette seeds that i toasted first to get max flavor. Now i have to slowly toast to get that crisp.
