oh, I consider the blue tiger moth and hollow knight stag beetle to be two separate fursonas, though I did imply the latter was just the former wearing a mask to ease people into the change so that might've been confusing

I think the mask and the moth wing cloak look really cool together though

another mc modpack I'm trying uses the "origins" mod which lets you choose your species at the start and being an enderman sounded pretty cool (painless ender pearls on a short cooldown and long arms, but water damage and "scared of pumpkins"(?)) until it spawned me on a gravel island in the ocean

already cleared the first two areas of one, I found the loot to be unimpressive compared to what I already had and largely incompatible with the pack's core class system

the only one that seemed like it could be worthwhile is ranger and that's because it gives you a passive skill that just increases the damage you do to an enemy the more you shoot it

unfortunately most of the dungeons I ran into are claustrophobic labyrinths so that feels like a poor choice

I went for arcane mage first because I like magic that isn't just "fireball" but the gear required ender pearls and did pitiful damage to the point I was just using a spear 99% of the time, then I went death knight(?) but all the poison stuff couldn't compete with just left-clicking with my sword

I was trying out the prominence II mc modpack and it's pretty alright but all the class abilities I tried just felt weak...there's all this specialized gear but I found basic attacks with a standard melee weapon or bow to be just as if not more effective
