Oh sorry I wasn't clear. I am the survivor. The perpetrators are family so I have reason to still he associated. I have a good relationship with both perpetrators. Though in one of the cases I was no contact for 5 years while they got their shit collected.

But requires extensive intervention from professionals and requires that the victim is not held responsible for the perpetrators change

I have 2 positive stories from seperate cases where they were domestically violent and sexually abusive. Both people went through extensive mental health care and had community support from other people. I now have a decent or good relationship with both of them. Restorative justice is possible
