Honestly even Triangle Strategy, by the actual Octopath devs, seems a smidge off sometimes with the Octopath style
I think just because it uses its character art a lot more, but TriStrat really wanted presentation just a bit more muted and with larger FFT sprites

Zeit is such a strange addition to Zero, because the game acts like he’s important but then the only thing he does upon being introduced is summon more wolves and raise the question of why Tio can talk to dogs (although the answer to that is because she’s awesome)

Yeah social media’s rise ENDED UP killing what was special about that time, but it wasn’t the mechanics of social media, but the perverse incentives
