aye! sorta like that, it's all done as a 2D representation behind the scenes (using Rect2) and then the mesh is built in code (using SurfaceTool). for corners each surface has a margin that can be added to so neighbouring surfaces can connect

the most difficult task thus far has been making walls that connect seamlessly to eachother at *any* angle of connection and can have holes in them WITHOUT using godot's built-in CSG (i do not maths so this was extra hard 😵‍💫) #gamedev #thesims #godot

my favourite controller is the XBOX ONE and Series X/S controller, because its design fits perfectly in my hands and I can use it for hours without problems. plus, XBOX design lab rules. I only use it for PC gaming, and I usually hate everything Microsoft does, but this controller is a win for sure!
