(4/5) Unfortunately, we are unaware of the specific controls and processes Transpennine currently have in place in relation gluten free provision.

(3/5) The gluten free law applies to both pre-packaged gluten free foods and gluten free food sold in catering establishments. This means if you see gluten free on a label or meal it must contain 20ppm or less of gluten. This includes taking measures to manage cross contamination.

(2/5) The use of the term ‘gluten free’ is a voluntary term but there is a law around its use which was published in January 2012 stating that the term can only be used for food which contains no more than 20 parts per million (ppm) of gluten.
