I should specify: I live on the peninsula and get around by foot/transit
Ideally I won’t have to go hours out of my way tomorrow

I understand why they want to separate them (for science) Last time my flu arm didn’t hurt at all, and the Covid arm was just mildly sore
Didn’t want to risk having two aching arms

Meanwhile, Sobeys and Aquaterra are pulling hundreds of millions of litres of water from wells in Colchester County which they sell as bottled water. For that water, the companies pay the province a total of $769 annually. That's not a typo. It's $769. (Exactly, $768.85.)

If you’re a gen X or millennial who hasn’t gotten their 2nd MMR dose (or you aren’t sure) make arrangements to do so
Seriously. You can’t tell who is immunocompromised just by looking (or who has loved ones at home who are)
Remember early Covid contact tracing? We’re all so connected.

One of the speakers was a young recipient of a heart transplant.
Good reminder:
Get your vaccines to protect those who can’t
Flu shots and new covid vaccines should be available later this month-get them if you can (and plan yourself a little treat for afterwards because you did a good thing)

I literally spend my days trying to persuade people to sing even if they don’t think they’re great at it
But expect myself to be good at everything the first try

Seriously, in Halifax, unless you have cats, you probably have mice
A teacher pal of mine had mice eat her student’s artwork (probably for the glue?)
*I kind of wish we could have hospital cats, but they’re not especially sanitary or hypoallergenic animals

Virtual hugs to you and scritches to Sweet Pea
It sounds like you’ve tried so hard (and have done everything experts recommended)

It’s what pays for the Halifax Regional Arts programming (pottery lab, fine arts specialists, honour choirs, and string program among other things)

Hope you can give yourself a gentle day
My mother’s voice is still on the answering machine at home, so the first few times my dad didn’t answer in time, I would lose hours to grief
A year and a half later I’m mostly prepared for it, but it’s still rough

Probably too late for this year, but would be a great day for a bridge walk. The summer one is usually too hot, but late September would be glorious
Free transit for sure, and some street parties?
Maybe a big bike party?
