I hope you have plenty of water nearby and, most importantly, something pleasant to fixate on. I've had experiences I do not wish to repeat on much less than that, with a tolerance level not much less than what yours would be if you regularly take 20. iirc there's a very inconvenient way to get to this boss as Freedan, and that was how I beat it as a kid?
