It really makes me upset how the style of surrealism is so plagued with AI. It makes sense how AI thrives off of nonsense, but please I want some original artwork. I have to look into artist's online portfolios to know if they're a human or not just to enjoy the art they make.

The game has a big emphasis on random chance events and making your sense of progress feel vague or slow. You get a camera to take photos and that becomes how you view your progress, but you have only 1 photo film to use each day before returning home, so you gotta find new stuff each day.

This project is called FOMO. It admittedly follows similar tropes to most ynfgs with exploring surreal landscapes and obtaining collectables in the form of trinkets, but you don't sleep to explore, most worlds are found in this giant city area, and you have to backtrack home to save your progress.

This has to be one of the most well crafted fangames I've ever played. I mentioned this to luok already but I really enjoy how it breaks apart fangame tropes like how you don't get a nexus and effects become something more disposable.
