You can make it dirty by adding a couple of shots of espresso if you like that sort of thing. A dirty chegg is what I called it when I ordered it. Yum.

Lol. No hallmark movies set in Winnipeg. Plus they're filmed in the heat of the summer so 50-60 degrees warmer.

Real snow?!? Amazing. The Hallmark movies I've seen during shoots use a bunch of cotton sheets to make it appear to be snow. Now that I've seen it IRL, I can't unsee it in the movies.

At least once a year I remind people that homemade eggnog is far simpler and so much better that I have converted many a non-eggnog lover. This year, I will enjoy it with the last drops of bourbon (never rum!) I acquired before the U.S. went mad.

I went out for dinner tonight and before ordering dessert, I asked if it had raisins in it. The server went to check and came back to let me know the baker is firmly anti-raisin. Hallelujah!

I stopped using booking sites for flight/hotel/car a long time ago because they are predatory. Points status really adds up if you stay with one brand. Yeah, you might pay a few dollars more, but peace of mind is more secure with the original service provider.

Most recent experience is 14 hours in urgent care to get my in-law a bed in the hospital. That's an improvement over the 3 days experienced a couple of years ago. It isn't just ER. Inability to get patients out of hospital backs everything up.

I'm curious about the decision. Years ago, I remember WPS was unhappy they had to go do traffic control and the plan was to close it entirely (if my memory is correct). It was always a terrible location, but it would be nice to have the option!

We drove from St. Norbert to St. James Costco every weekend. So happy we can just drive around the perimeter now, stop for breakfast, and avoid St. James entirely.
