Went to Walmart today and saw canned meats in the shelf. While, tuna and corned beef might be the norm, canned roasted meats are new. There is literally ground beef! And that more than anything is telling of the depression we are headed into.

While we are talking about Mamdani's win, 86 Dems voted to condemn socialism. Let's not let them forget it. I still want to vote blue but I want blue to stand for the things I stand for

All the pictures coming out of the Whitehouse with Mamdani all I can't think about is the smiles. Mamdani is known for his big smile and yet so tame during these photos and I literally thought the Trump looking at Mamdani photo was AI because I've never seen a bigger smile

I don't believe that this is peace keeping. It may start out that way but it won't end that way. I hope I'm wrong

I used to live across the street from this highschool and I used to walk on the track in the morning. It's a small mountain town. We need to move a conversation of how to keep people safe from violence and not let those who profit from school shootings to control the narrative.

Every organization or person I have seen that can't be criticized is doing terrible things. Asking for individuals on this topic is wild. There are a lot of topics on Wikipedia with contributors of all views and to my knowledge this is the first time the government has asked for individuals

Just finished Derry Girls 10/10. The last episode gave me such hope. The Troubles probably seemed endless but they did end. And Ireland today is so far removed from that time. One day this too will pass and we will be far away from it. That's the hope anyways.

We need militant decency right now.For too long it's been passive decency, hoping that because we are nice and good, the opposition will change. Do the right thing even if it is hard. Do the thankless work. Speak up and stand up even when they push you down. Make the calls. Do the protests. Be Angry

Not only is this just bizarre for a president to be posting self insert fanfic, but it's just wrong.
People including children have died in the several floods that have happened this week. And despite painting himself as a savior he saved no one, in fact the opposite. Blood is on his hands.

Really‽ I don't care if you don't agree with someone, saying that the genocide of a people wasn't thorough enough is evil

This headline should say again, because Israel never stops killing people while they are trying to just get the bare minimum to survive.

I mean I'm not surprised. Trump isn't the kind of person to care about the unintended consequences

I love it when the moon is out in the day. We've had tons of thunderstorms lately so a clear day with a clear view is welcome
