this week I had the privilege of tattooing my friend (born on 13th) with this 13 tattoo. I was born on 13th, and my dear friend who tattooed ME was born on 13th, and so I have completed the circle.

my class was cancelled and I ended up in a part of town i'm rarely in.. so I went to the lake and was lucky enough to come across a youngling heron on the hunt for mice. I watched her miss and take up a bunch of ivy, but the 2nd time she did it! this was my face 😲

so the live cam on the heron nest at @chesconserv.bsky.social has herons in it now! I enjoyed watching yesterday while working in the studio as they stood together in the nest, sometimes flying off to collect and bring back sticks 🤍
