They made a profit; paid 8 times that profit to the residents of Qld to help with cost of living (power bills, 50cent public transport) ie they paid for the flour & eggs that a cake-maker has to buy. Apparently being profitable & being good citizens is unsustainable. #MiningGreed

Dear USA. This is what lack of voter suppression looks like. Distributed into every mail box in Australia. With (v roughly) 13 times our population, these figures when transposed to USA would be 91,000+ polling places, 6500+ early voting centres & 1.3million temporary election workers. Thankyou #AEC

Hang on ... so the LNP $1200 tax deduction goes to those earning between $48,000 and $104,000. What about those earning less than $48,000? Are they not the MOST in need of a "living tax offset"?

I’m pleased BOM has included Covid-safe advice; while also frustrated by the minimisation at the end. (It’s hard to get riled about hand hygiene advice because it’s always good to do when in crowds; but so over conflating it with being covid safe)
