"Ian" is harvesting olives in Tulare County. He works from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., earning $6.50 per bucket. "The buckets are big and can weigh up to 35 lbs. My hands get sore after a day’s work from carrying the heavy buckets all day long. But this work feeds my family." #WeFeedYoul

The climate implications of opening the Arctic to an oil-drilling bonanza are staggering. Alaska's Arctic is warming 3-5 times faster than the rest of the planet. Expanded drilling will worsen the climate crisis in Alaska, which is facing thawing permafrost, sea ice loss and coastal erosion.

NEW: The Trump admin is planning to release a reckless offshore drilling plan that would open vast new areas of U.S. waters to oil and gas development. This would include auctioning off public waters in California, the Gulf of Mexico, and virtually every offshore area in Alaska.
