Also, I once knew a 75-year-old woman with myasthenia gravis who challenged a landscaper with a leaf blower to a race to clear a yard of leaves, vs her with her rake. The old lady won and didn’t kick up a cloud of dust that covered half the block.

Did the math once. You got a house across the street, behind you, left and right, then 4 homes diagonally from yours. If they each spend just one hour a week with leaf blowers, that’s 8 hours every week of that fucking noise. But it’s so loud you can hear it from the homes just beyond those too.

Still, I’m mad at ANYONE who refuses to vote, because of how much more ground is ceded to these sick, racist, eugenicist, fascists every time we allow any of them to win a public office.

You know, I’d be sort of okay with that if they wanted to get their filthy fingers out of social media and everything else and just focus on making AI assisted wearables as medical devices to help folks with their ADLs. You know how much shit like this can help, say, a blind person?

Yeah. Like, I’ve known more people who will suffer awful consequences from eating wheat, rice, sesame or egg than from smoking weed. Yet no one thinks those people get what’s coming to them if they ever tried those things.
It’s an HERB. Everyone needs to settle down on all sides of the issue.

If people didn’t insist on polarising the whole thing so insanely (& if it wasn’t illegal) we could have honest conversations and education. You don’t see anyone saying shrimp is dangerous and should be illegal OR that it’s safe for EVERYONE and you’re lying if you say you can’t eat them.

2. Weed is bad, it should be illegal, look, it makes people sick! My cousin smoked weed and she ruined her life and went to jail! See!?

Find literally ONE documented case of someone dying as the direct result of cannabis consumption.
(And not because of a severe allergy as then you’d have to denounce shrimp, peanut butter, rice, etc too.)

Anybody can develop an allergy or intolerance to anything at any time. The issue most have is with the biased scaremongering pieces. A friend ate sesame a thousand times before the time it nearly killed him and he could never eat it again. Another friend: rice! *Anything* we consume can do this.
