Ten years ago today, my father suddenly died aged 69. He’s sadly missed by of of us in the family, and our extended family, the wider community. He was a tieless worker, organising events for young and old and representing the people The Liberties in various committees

Great to see ‘the little hall’ being used for artists studios. Many a St Audoen’s school play held there as a small boy and bingo with my grandfather…
The council is pushing forward with a plan for 20 new artist studios and a revived theatre on Merchant’s Quay. If it gets planning permission for the €9.5 million project on schedule, construction could start next September, according to a council official.
