To reduce the likelihood of this possibility, it is up to the open-source community to create a means for people to do AI inference locally on any hardware made in the last 20 or so years in a way that allows for maximum workflow flexibility.

I can now ask the computer any question and get a satisfactory answer instead of arguing with a bunch of know-it-alls on Reddit about whether my question is worth asking in the first place. All thanks to AI. If you don't see the value in this, than I don't know what to tell you.
I can see the value of this, but is there any evidence that "responsible AI" is even possible? And to confidently claim that AI is "not going anywhere," when there's little evidence of its usefulness or function, feels a bit like just advertising for it, tbh.

The last time busybody karens did something serious like this was the prohibition of alcohol in the 1920s.
