The merch storefront as a whole is new, just the launch deal
It's become a pattern. Happened last winter and also this past summer. Enough of my friends have seen all the news coverage and sworn off the Wolverine that our next trip to Chicago will likely be a carpool to Metra/SSL.
It's unfortunate. Michigan deserves reliable rail.

Cold-related disruptions again that cascaded into this morning.
I love Amtrak, I really do, but a new rider who gets bus bridged at best, stranded at worst might never consider train travel again. An unacceptable number of people have now had that first impression.

The service reversion will take effect Monday, January 12th. This makes the 4:30pm departure from downtown on Sunday the 11th the final trip to Horrocks which allows time to shop, for those who'd like to be there.

The Flix route that stops at I-75/Miller is the same one that used to go to Mount Pleasant but now goes to Grand Rapids instead, paralleling existing Indian Trails service. Timing is almost exactly the same too, would be a big deal if it were an evening trip but alas

Generally the delays aren't major but you've gotta have your ticket pre-booked a few days ahead of time minimum. Every train and bus sells out especially at the college stations like East Lansing
