Not Cody no, sure he plays every game so he would not make us any more or less solid than usual. He is tall for defensive set pieces I suppose.

Yeah I'd have been starting Chiesa instead of Salah about two months ago. I'd say it's always easy for a manager to go for the taller player especially when we are worried about set pieces

Is he not our top scorer? Sure none of the forwards are doing well so you could say the same if he started Salah or Isak. It looks like a team that will be defensively solid which is understandable given recent results.

I would like Mo to start also but I suppose we have limited options to replace Gakpo with unfortunately.

I think we finished our hopes of top 8 in the CL the last day so I hope he isn't focusing on that over thr PL at this stage

The last two games we gave up very few chances from open play and only one from set pieces. I think that has been the focus and he will gradually build us back up to being competitive enough to get top 4. Especially when we will likely only have one game a week in the 2nd half of the season

I actually thought referees were more fair to Liverpool last season and put it down to Klopp not being there. This season has been different though

They recover well from all of their injuries in fairness. A hardy bunch of lads
December 3, 2025 at 9:59 PM
Both. We are shit because we never looked likely to score but unlucky because we only really gave up shots from outside the box and still conceded
December 3, 2025 at 9:48 PM
They are all at it unfortunately, bad mistakes from Konate, Alisson and VVD tonight. And that's just the defenders
December 3, 2025 at 9:47 PM
We look like a team that has been focused on defending and set pieces in training. Unfortunately that's probably what was needed most
December 3, 2025 at 9:16 PM
We aren't giving up chances and look solid defending set pieces. Gomez in has made more of a difference than Salah out I think

Poor effort from Wirtz there but we are making chances and looking solid at the back.

I don't think Robertson is the answer really but fewer defensive changes and players who know the system could help steady the ship a bit.
November 28, 2025 at 4:15 PM
Yeah, I think it is clear since last season that one game a week is the most he can do without his performance taking a big dip.
November 28, 2025 at 4:14 PM
I'd say Robertson has been slightly better for Liverpool than Kerkez has this season. Its really not that remarkable, certainly not because Robertson had a bad game for Scotland on the same day he said he was in bits over the loss of Jota.

Exactly where Liverpool were this time last season 🙈

Golf is another one, although that could be mostly the US players but they have all that prayer group stuff going on also

It would be funny if he got sacked after ten 1-0 wins in a row
November 26, 2025 at 10:50 PM
I feel like maybe he should be going on about penalty decisions and trying to build a siege mentality. He needs to get these guys riled up somehow

You also have to be born with rare attributes which you could believe come from God if that's your thing I suppose.
