N95 masks in healthcare. Clean air in all schools. Clean air everywhere. 😷
Certainly would be but we know how likely that is, sadly. Be nice if health facilities at least had a proactive go. But, also unlikely. Sigh.

I was wondering that as well.

There also seems to be more 'we'll just leave it and see how it goes' than I recall from before. Not sure whether that's a lack of resources issue - the cynical part of me now thinks that possible. Or, whether there's new u'standings of treatment for these cancers.

I can understand that. They're too firm for me (extended straps are better), and make my nose feel blocked too. Currently sitting here in my Zimi (hubs potentially exposed so both masking). It's much more comfortable with the frame design.

Not bad for something supposedly 'over'.

Trident's are *very* firm. A suctioned-octopus is a good example.

Seems to be the general approach - follow the science for some, downplay it for the rest of us.

And the minimising of the incidence of post-acute illness was interesting too. Came across as not that many and temporary. I'd say 'tell 'em they're dreaming' to that.

It's so far from being okay, and I sway between anger and numbness about it all. I imagine, like teaching, there's also pressure on staff to attend when sick, but the lack of willingness to wear a properly fitted mask does carry the responsibility for harming others. Such an easy way to Do No Harm.

Can you actually get a flu shot if you had one earlier in the year (usual 'flu time' around April/May? And does the flu shot get updated throughout the year? Hubs and I were only talking about it this morning.

Lovely! Hope nobody has ongoing issues as a result.

Exactly.

The economy would also have been healthier. Social structures too.
Fills me with grief to think how easy it could have been.

I quite like being part of a vanguard.

Does putting 'ai' after your search term reduce ai results? I didn't know that. So, for example, you go 'callico cats ai'?

Upsetting to see further evidence of the immune damage kids have been subjected to.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you. 🤞🤞🤞

Glad your kids friend is at least testing. But sigh-yay /s for the start of the infectiousseason.

Goodness! Just noticed that. Things must be grim behind the scenes.

I've only requested my records once & that was so traumatic I've never been able to bring myself to it again. But in my semi-reg chronic cond'n plan/s (which have yet to involve actual carrying out) there's been multiple errors. I request corrections, but they're never made from year to year.

I feel really strongly there should be that open sharing & discussion of notes during appt - would save misunderstandings, gaslighting, poor treatment from other drs etc. Should be just a given.

What I've seen of my records are abysmal - errors in medications, names of conditions, missing info.

In other news, I watched the first episode of Michael Palin in Venezuela - it was very interesting. Thanks for mentioning it - I wouldn't known otherwise to look for it on SBS.

Call me old fashioned, old, ethical & maybe even tight. But for cost of 2x appts (one of which I'm considering cancelling because big cost to justify), AND throw in ZERO IPC at the practice, I think they should do their own notes instead of lazying out with AI.

I'm having a testy, sore morning. :-(
