I feel very silly but what is this extra picture in The Anthology? It’s not a vinyl sleeve or anything it was just an extra picture. Is it supposed to separate the vinyl disks? If so, why is there only one?

When Swift released evermore, she shared an accompanying essay teasing each of the songs on the album. It became quite clear that the open-road Americana ballad "cowboy like me", which boasts shadowy guest vocals from Marcus Mumford, was the song she described as being about "two young con artists who fall in love while hanging out at fancy resorts trying to score rich romantic beneficiaries."25 The pair understand each other on a deep level, which neither person was expecting; accordingly, both parties also weren't expecting to meet someone who accepted their baggage. In the end, the relationship might not work out - after all, at least one of the cons goes into the relationship with eyes open to the idea that things could end - but in the moment, two rogues make a right.

It's a sign of maturity when you're able to admit you're at fault for a relationship breaking down, and that your words or actions have hurt somebody deeply. Swift reached that point - and sounds suitably chastened - on the swooning, string-cushioned power ballad "Back to December", which she noted was her first apology song towards a boyfriend she treated badly. "This is about somebody who was incredible to me, just perfect to me in a relationship, and I was really careless with him, so these are the words that I would say to him - that he deserves to hear." Although she's typically coy about her song inspiration, "Back to December" is most certainly about actor Taylor Lautner, whom she dated in 2009. (The word "TAY" was slipped into the lyrics, and Lautner himself confirmed the song was about him in 2016.) Thankfully, Swift and Lautner are on great terms these days. The actor co-starred in Swift's "I Can See You" music video and showed up at the video's premiere at a summer 2023 Kansas City Eras Tour stop. After wowing the crowd with some impressive acrobatic flips, Lautner then gave an impromptu speech in which he said nothing but heartfelt things about Swift.4
