My point exactly. I don't disagree with your desire for universal healthcare, I just don't know how to make it work. Medicare sorta works....but then many (who can afford it) get supplemental plans.

It saddens me to think anyone would die due to a lack of healthcare. I think everyone should have access, I just don't have a good solution on how to provide it. My mother died earlier than she should have from inadequate healthcare in Canada. She had access, just not timely or robust enough.

I am curious, since the Lakota colonized/displaced/raided/disputed with the Arikara, Hidatsa, Mandan, Crow, Pawnee, Otoe, and Omaha tribes as they migrated from the Great Lakes region into the Plains (the Lakota were nomadic), how far do you go back?

While I understand the simplicity in assigning people to the left, center, or right, I have a dislike for labels. I have views that are on the left, center, and right....but apparently, I have to be assigned one category.

I don't know the CEO. I don't know if he was a good person trying to steer UHC down a different path or "a merchant of death". I know that he was a husband and father and it saddens me to think that there is a void in his family's life.

I had heard of BlueSky, but after going to Mastadon where many of the cyber folks went after the Twitter->X conversion and I saw it was not much different, just opted out of this form of social media completely. I came here today following an MS Tech 'expert'.

Those darn societies have 'people' in them, that's the problem :) But seriously, I understand....I am just hopeful that Bsky isn't JUST another street corner for a minority of extreme views to be spouted. I don't have a solution just a hope.

For all (most) of the people that believe that neither Mangione nor Rittenhouse should be folk heroes, don't let yourself be polarized into one side or another (and here I was hoping BlueSky would be different than Twitter).
