Hey @gwr.com. Today I had a lovely chat with Jonny who did the trolley service on the 14.54 from Castle Cary to Paddington. With his car out of action, he walked 2hrs from Burnham to Slough at 2am to start his shift. Many would have thrown a sickie, probs me included. You have a hero in your ranks.

Farage the politician *is* Farage the schoolboy losing his shit over seeing the name ‘Patel’ on the school roll and telling black pupils to go back to Africa. There’s really no difference. Except now he wants (and may be bought) the power to deport those people.
It’s not the past. It’s now.

Nigel Farage won't apologise for his history of racism because "if he apologised, he would be turning to his own support base and saying, ‘You’re all guilty too,'" a Reform source tells the Times.

So essentially he was a racist and he believes his supporters are racists too

Here is a list of reasons why some of my hearings and trials this year have been delayed and kicked off into the long grass, stuck in our record court backlog. Serious allegations which will now be tried *years* after the event. 🧵👇

Listening to David Lammy on @BBCr4today attempting to justify abolishing trial by jury, it is increasingly and terrifyingly clear that he simply does not understand the issues.

The BBC are accidentally running the subtitles to Mrs Marple over the Mercury Prize, and it’s rather wonderful. A few of lines could plausibly have been written by Jarvis.
