Hayao Miyazaki, who was already angry at Bush Jr's new forever war, called the Jackson Lord of the Rings movies typical hollywhite supremacist crap with white heroes vs Black and Asian minions of evil.

Miyazaki brings up Afghanistan. It was indeed how contemporary Americans viewed that new crusade.

You are the ones that, 'bang,' get shot. Watching [those movies] without any self-awareness is unbelievable. There's no pride, no historical perspective. You don't know how you are viewed by a country like America
