started playing CV4 and man i dont really like how less commital your movement is in this game, it's not something inherently bad but i feel like extremely tight and commital movement was part of castlevania's identity and 4 doesn't do anything interesting with the tweaked movement

fang's charge shot in hard corps is genuinely broken oh my god lmao
it's not only his single most damaging attack in the game besides bombs, but you also don't even need to charge it if you don't want to, can just spam it forever if ur skilled enough, and seemingly it's a single-hit too...
