Workers at BWI say Spirit contractor failed to protect them from extreme heat

BWI workers file one of Maryland’s first workplace heat stress complaints

The complaint comes from roughly workers for AGI, a company contracted by Spirit Airlines at Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport.

Crow's Nest National Call for Art:
The Speed of Fashion
For our June exhibit, we are looking for artwork of all mediums exploring fibers and fashion in an environmental justice context.

We are also soliciting programming proposals from DMV area artists, particularly for those able to facilitate workshops themed around slow fashion principles of visible repair, upcycling, and creative reuse.

Entry fees support the cost of the exhibit: $12, $6 for undergraduate students.
