The launch model got delayed for months, they *finally* started shipping them out, and now they're making a limited edition for even more money as a gigantic fuck you to early adopters (on what was already an overpriced and unnecessarily locked down device).

It's definitely been tough tho. Even just managing the health-bleeding-hunger resource balance has been more than I was expecting out of this game. I wanna try and keep pushing through, but I know I'm not even half way done and there's other stuff I wanna try in my limited gaming time.

Hard to judge where you stopped off the time stamp by comparison (I move at a fucking snails pace lol), but it definitely took some getting used to for me. Parries are hard to time, but I've been most effective smartly using cover and corners + charged attacks.

Well the good news is that nintendo isn't giving them dev kits so they won't be moving to switch 2 exclusively any time soon 😂

I think GTA 6 is absolutely part of it. It's not just the "hardcore" audience who knows tech is getting more expensive for a variety of reasons. "why would i spend 600 next year if i can spend 400 now?" is almost definitely part of the math for some people buying a ps5 this holiday

But idt power or age was as much a factor as the switch 2 just being expensive for its target audience who are probably still content with their current switch models.
Switch 2 is still selling super well tbc but it might be hitting a wall w/ normie adoption. 2/2

Fwiw i still think there's a strong likelihood switch 2 outsells ps5 in q4, if for no other reason than they own the japanese market, but ps5 will be closer than many would've expected.

Percentiles are a more accurate representation than the aggregate score. That's why OC groups games by Mighty, Strong, Fair, and Weak based on those percentiles

Prime 4 seems to be a good bit different from Prime 1 in a number of ways, and the remaster/visual remake of the latter was pretty well received just a couple years ago. Not sure this is a memory/nostalgia issue. I think some people may just like a new game less than an old one
