Independent Bookstore Day is this Saturday, 4/26!! We're celebrating with a big bookstore scavenger hunt--twelve paper book cutouts will be hidden in the back of the store, from the Art Section into the Children's Section.

Now up for auction on our eBay page is an original Winsor McCay piece! The piece is "The Staircase of Eternity." It was published as the centerpiece of a philosophical / scientific editorial that was really an advertisement for Henry Thomas Buckle's book, "The History of Civilization."

New eBay auction alert! Listed now is a signed edition of Robert Bloch's "unauthorized biography" Once Around The Block. The book includes a tipped-in page with Bloch's signature & a Virgil Finlay pulp illustration from Bloch's story "The Opener of the Way" (Weird Tales, Oct. 1936), pictured here.
