also not just the original novel being bad: a great deal of elements from it just do not happen in the movie. namely, roger rabbit is ALIVE in the movie. attempting to make a sequel I imagine is like how they are trying to make a live action lilo and stitch sequel when they changed the ending

the past not being documented that well despite being clear in your mind is something that freaks me out. I know there used to be a games workshop in the woodfield mall. but there's no fucking photos of it. its documented online. but i can't see a photo if it back in the day.

This is what I try to always tell people: food banks can do way more with your money than you can, due to bulk buying deals. And they can do way, way more with your money than with the canned goods you didn’t want to eat

I’m so confused by why this is so hard. No one ever saw every Bond story as in 100% continuity. I don’t believe Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan share the same exact continuity. Especially Craig, who had his own arc. Also since when are we so literal minded? It’s so tech brained, only surface level.

If your game has voice acting, then working with the voice actors is half of your writing process. It's not complete until you've heard it interpreted and reimagined by a voice actor. And they always reimagine it in ways that elevate the writing, in ways you never would have imagined yourself.
