As to the OP, no clue why she deleted her post, but I just want to take this occasion to point out that she apparently has a history of at-best ghosting transmasc people, which does not fit into my personal vision of feminism as equality for all—everyone should be seen and loved for who they are—

however much you might disagree with her principles (even while differentiating between her stated principles and what she actually said and did). I would welcome a critical biography of her, but I don’t think a good one would fall in the “come to love” category. Excoriation in a popular format …

This is interesting because I have heard many biographers profess that, at the end of the day, they have come to love, or at least come to appreciate things they loved, about their subjects. Schaffly (but not Vance) can plausibly be regarded as what Gramsci would term an organic intellectual…

You might check into bathroom laws if there are transfers en route, but overall recent experience with Amtrak was great (and facilities on the train are gender neutral). I can‘t vouch for Greyhound stations, just going by recent experience on Amtrak
