FFVI, a game I absolutely adore, is broken af. There is basically zero balance past a certain point. It’s also extremely glitchy, and to a level a game with that level of production should not have been at the time.

While I’m on it:

Earthbound has a lot of charm wrapped around some absolutely infuriating gameplay.

If I’m being *really* critical —and I certainly will be— the reason people have such fond memories of Chrono Trigger is because of its music. And even then, Yasunori Mitsuda has done much better soundtracks. Chrono Cross is the most obvious example.

Oh, you liked Undertale and DeltaRune? You think Silksong is beautiful? You think Tim Robinson and Smiling Friends are hilarious? Man, do I got some bad news for you.

I could go on for days about how performative it is how everyone gets mad at America for its jingoistic nationalism while at the same time they pretend the exact same issue isn’t a worldwide problem happening everywhere in the Western world.

But will you DEMAND them?

Tarantino took shots at extremely talented actors in order to drum up controversy, but because he’s a sniveling little turd he didn’t go after anybody with massive amounts of industry pull

So are we all done pretending like Tarantino is anything greater than a hack that steals things from better filmmakers, and his entire career was propped up by a literal convicted and incarcerated rapist?

I’m 41 and was raised in an evangelical Christian household, and this is the first time I’ve ever heard of this. There are certainly Christian families who don’t watch these films because “Christmas is about Jesus” though.

Go for it. I made a simple text adventure for an interactive fiction class over the summer. It won’t win any awards, but it was a really fun and enlightening experience!

I would not be surprised in the least if it turned out these guys turned down Tarantino roles. The dude is known to hold grudges.
