fandom got some mention as well, which was nice. i didn't know there were conventions!

they briefly addressed claims of a feud between bea and betty, which boiled down to "one was a theater girl, the other was a tv girl, and about 2% of the time they had different approaches."

it think it's that they don't see their jobs as existing in order to accomplish anything. they see their jobs as being "political" performers. it explains why they don't do SHIT unless it's time to fund-raise for the next election. then once the votes are in, they go back to playing pretend govt

lucky! we're really in the middle of nowhere here so the nearest specialty places are over an hour away.

we usually have to choose between buttons, portobellas/baby bellas, and the occasional shiitakes. rarely see enokis. haven't seen anything else in markets around here
(well, morrells if you know where/when to look. never in markets tho)

i'll prob have to use whatever mushrooms i can find (usually not much variety here unless you're lucky). recipes are great tho, even as a jumping off point XD
