To be fair, most Mario spinoffs during the switch era were just. not very good? So I definitely don't fault you for forgetting. Seems like they've been getting their act together with the more recent Mario Party's and the upcoming Tennis game. We'll have to wait and see if K. Rool truly becomes-

I feel like the actual gameplay will be good which is all I really want. really hoping the marvel quip guy is just like a tutorial type thing, though.

Oh yeah I had a lot of fun with it! This game is really bringing back that longing for F-Zero as well. I find it kinda funny that Air Ride can get a sequel based solely on fan outcry, But F-Zero cannot. Hopefully this is the gen for it.

for sure, it's not like this was an ongoing series that needs a refresh or anything. I've never gotten the chance to play the og until a few weeks ago.
