I know this is quite a substantial effort, and I respect that. But the arbitrary "best" categories that quite clearly are made up every year for specific businesses dilute the value of the work, and the significance of the awards for worthy businesses.

It's become "everyone gets a trophy".

Not disagreeing, but horrendous CGI was all the rage during that period. I don’t think it would’ve resulted in a substantially different product (more practical effects vs less).

My first experience at a bus stop with a new bench from To Nashville With Love, and it was great! This stop has needed one for a long time, and it was really nice to be able to rest for a moment.

100%. While I can't pull examples out of a hat, I believe other cities use a reimbursement process where the general fund pays the salary, and the bond proceeds then reimburse it for the employee's time spent on capital projects.

I'm not wise in finance. Even today, I learned what IDIQ can do.
