Mumbai is three years old this May and he has a long, colorful train now. He'll start putting on displays and doing train rattling soon.

Mumbai is 3 this spring, his big boy train feathers and coveted eye feathers came in over winter and will be on full display soon when mating season starts. He's quiet as a mouse the rest of the year but during mating season he screeches, it's deafening in the barn, much louder than a rooster.💙🦚

Mumbai sitting on one of his perches in the barn. Peacocks are not hard to keep they just need a LOT of room. This perch is a cross beam and is about 12' high and 4" wide.

Due to avian flu Mumbai is not able to go outside. He has a 24' x 40' barn with 22' high ceilings, it's big enough for him to fly around. He has perches in front of windows to get fresh air and sunshine and a large 12' roost he sleeps on at night. His safety and comfort are always in mind.🦚

Mumbai getting some sun this morning. We had subzero winds in Maine today but he's warm and cozy in the barn. His train feathers are starting to get really long. 🦚
