My mother, in the next day or two, will be moved to palliative care. Hard to describe the feeling knowing this visit is likely the last.

This past weekend we celebrated my husband’s 70th birthday. This is me making dinner for 22 people and looking way more confident about it than I actually was. Thankfully, everything came out edible and even had some fans.
