I’ve been in places where it was so obnoxious I couldn’t even talk to the person next to me.

People tend to think police boxes were wood, but AFAIK, they were either concrete or metal. I’ve seen footage of them being demolished, and they took them down like buildings. So I don’t think they would have ended up in landfills in real life.

Well, a train is a smoother ride so it would be fairly okay. But a bus, particularly a double decker as it manoeuvres around corners…
The ones here have a cute animal design. They use old routemasters, painted with imagery of forest creatures drinking tea.

There’s a similar tea bus tour here in Dublin. I always wonder how people can drink tea from regular cups on a moving vehicle.
