Apologies to the young dad pushing a pram into the BP/M&S garage in Strathbungo for not instantly leaping out of the way because you know, he had a pram

If the grey hair & arthritic gait were not enough reason, my right boot had decided to self destruct, reducing my ability to leap instantly away

This is more of a modelling project, but it will get stuff done for my 10mm Middle-Earth

Ground in 10mm should be about 17.6 cm long (100 feet) so building one, and some of those GW Goblins and Trolls I have had for 20 years, to accompany them

The road and ground here on picture one are a lot of DAS, with stuff on top

I have a base planned, with road planned with the ground tissue stiffened with white glue, painted for the soil, as in the second

Water I haven't figured out yet, apart from printed card. Reasons against resin pours

Nice

I have a lot of card terrain, which does, but yours is nicer

Good break up of sight limrs

The capybara are outnumbered by hielan coos, who do seem to be flavour of the month

Ever fancied the theoretical chance of a large cuddly capybara ?

One of the stalls at the Glasgow carnival thing at Glasgow Green will happily take your money as you try

Now that Grok has started attributing superhuman qualities to Elon Musk that fly in the face of actual evidence, Musk has revealed Grok's new avatar

I use one of these for a lot of "at the desk" exercise, having knackered knees

Granted, if I concentrate on work, the pedal count goes down, but good for meetings with the camera off, or more pedestrian work

Might be worth looking into if the stepper doesn't cut it

Another bit of experimental archeology would be to try one for bearing shapes into metal, like the ones used to make plates for helmets

mine doesn't have any, but I got it cheap, in a hurry

BTW, to transform the A4 sized picture (right) into a multiple page overlapping thing (left) I could make a bigger version of, I used "Posterazor" on Linux, handy!

Choose how many pages you want to transform to and it does the job. In this case two A4 sheets made a bigger backdrop

Could you answer this?

Getting close to finishing this as a build, some more features then next to figure out how to photograph it adequately

Three stages in the creation of 6mm scale trenches for a figure base

The base coat is finished, need to start giving it some differentiation

From a demo game, "The Secret of Weepstone" for fans of futhark

A note found in a room in Futhark. My futhark is rusty and systems differ, but my translation on ALT Text

Trying to make teeny tiny trenches, using cut up boxes for basic landscaping and tissue paper and modge podge to soften the hard edges and give texture.

Two groups of swans and cygnets in the park. Not usually that great with groups of adults in the same space

Squirrel on the park too tame, oncoming pedestrian too focussed on phone, had to speak up otherwise we would have had a flat rodent
