Data person, policy researcher, builder.
If I don't get back to emails immediately due to flaky Wifi, swimming, getting desperately needed semblance of epidermal pigmentation, or practicing Spanish in Playa del Carmen, that is why. Much love. ☀️

Note: I will be taking a small break from my beloved city in what should really be our sister city over in the great nation of Mexico.

Each and every one of you made an indelible impact on the final Council, the local conversation, and the policies enacted within your community.
November 13, 2025 at 2:59 PM
I would like to end with an enormous thank you to our volunteers—people who gave their limited time to help bring fresh ideas and a compassionate, evidence-based approach to this city. Please know this: **we could not have done this without you.**
November 13, 2025 at 2:59 PM
That is why we, as a city, *must* think bigger. We must leverage these gifts. We must lead in new, transformative ideas. And, most of all, we must thoughtfully serve our people and lead in the vital task of envisioning and building better government.
November 13, 2025 at 2:59 PM
A substantial portion of our voters demonstrates an explicit openness to new ideas and a culture that pushes people to think before they vote.
November 13, 2025 at 2:59 PM
I do not think an approach like this could have fared nearly so well in another city. Cambridge is a place with strong progressive values, to be sure—but also a pragmatic, discerning streak.
November 13, 2025 at 2:59 PM
Turns out, many people here don't blindly vote based on the number of times they see a name in the street or in ads. They actually read up on people. This honestly gives me so much respect for Cambridge voters.
November 13, 2025 at 2:59 PM
If elections were decided purely on funds, ad space, or sheer organizational scale, we should have been soundly obliterated. But that is not what happened at all.
November 13, 2025 at 2:59 PM
For, despite our challenges—championing the interests of struggling renters without taking developer money is *not* a political cash cow—our campaign's foundational strength was putting forward a set of strong, informed, and substantive policies that would genuinely benefit the city.
November 13, 2025 at 2:59 PM
What we accomplished was nothing less than incredible. With a 3-person team and a tiny shoestring budget of a little over $10k—one of the very lowest in the race—we handedly outpaced many larger and more deep-pocketed political organizations.
November 13, 2025 at 2:59 PM
We are incredibly proud to have helped achieve a pro-housing, pro-safe streets Council, infuse our local conversations with powerful ideas like land value tax, dynamic metering, and flipped lobbying, and draw many new voters to being involved in important issues.
