Yesterday was the one year anniversary of Wyvern the Kamen Rider, and it's one of the creative works I'm most proud of. Hopefully I'll find a venue to release it in a way that people will be able to actually understand what's going on, some day

The weekend was legitimately rough. We had a backer pledge $10K... and then cancel within 24 hours. *Pretty sure it was a troll*. That said, the community response has been incredible. We're almost back to our pre-troll total!

I'm reading that Starbrand and Nightmask series from 2015 and it's really charming. And it makes me REALLY mad that Kevin was, apparently, killed off solely so that Aaron could introduce his own Starbrand OC to tie into his stupid prehistoric Avengers. He deserved better!

Now it wouldn’t have the impact. It’s lost its oomph. The Comic Book Deaths that stick do so because they resonate with the story being told. Doing another Death of Hawkeye would just feel cheap.

TIL that racist caricature, Jimmy Woo villain, and Marvel’s first attempt at ripping off Fu Manchu had 45 appearances across various Marvel publications going well into the year 2000 before Agents of Atlas happened. This means Marvel had at least 3 different Yellow Peril villains running around

on the 17th, my dad w/ end stage cirrhosis+ liver cancer was rushed to the ER after vomiting blood and becoming unresponsive. he had surgery and has been intubated in the ICU since. it does not sound like he is going to make it.
