I was grateful that I leased the Leaf because it meant that they had to take the damn thing back at some point.
It was also the strong recommendation of the salesman, but he lied through his teeth about features that straight-up did not exist (most memorably, a spare tire) so who knows.

And faster! The one thing I adored about my Leaf was absolutely *destroying* muscle cars at stoplights.
Just something immensely satisfying about someone's customized Corvette being left in the dust by a baby blue hatchback.
One guy made sure he beat us out of everything for the next four miles.

I got burned by a 2013 Nissan Leaf (I bought my first gas-only car six months later...it was THAT bad) and wrote off EVs for about a decade.
I've had my Ioniq 5 for a few years and it's such a dream that I can't see myself even going hybrid again.
