I hate all your terms for everything I am.

Whilst you're visiting, take a look through some old posts, why don't you.

Will block AI slop.
Well this is definitely not about me.

The power chords were G and D on the 3rd and 5th fret respectively, by the way.
November 27, 2025 at 6:04 PM
Wouldn't take long to figure out E, A and some minor chords.

Here's two power chords
Move them around a bit
Now form a band

Early attempt by the Human Centipede guy, I reckon.

Feline/female is where the safe money is.

Because of the pricks, right?

Again I argued a few things on the last deposit. Claimed the garden was unkempt and overgrown. It certainly had grown but we maintained it and it looked better than when we arrived.
November 27, 2025 at 5:54 PM
As for deposit, make sure it's in a deposit protection scheme. I got money back from a landlord who hadn't and refused to give me any back.

You also stand a better chance of getting some back if there is disagreement.

It's changing apparently but no limit currently for private rentals.

I was turfed out of a place after a year because the landlord wanted the property back. Nightmare being unfinished.

Bought and finally out of that cycle. I've moved 16 times in less than 30 years.
November 27, 2025 at 5:50 PM
Is that even legal? I'm sure there's a limit. My old letting agency tried to increase the rent and said the landlord was entitled to ask for an increase of up to x% and I'm sure it was nowhere near 25%.

I said no and agreed a lower amount.

Who's evaluating these homes? They've been trying to re-evaluate houses for council tax for years without joy.

Regardless, the true etymology is unknown but it is unlikely to be an acronym.

'As prison slang also said to be an acronym for "Not On Normal Communal Exercise", but this is likely a backronym'

That started to sound like my mates place but no, this is in Rotherham.
November 25, 2025 at 8:37 PM
Ha, oh Christ, I hope not.
November 25, 2025 at 7:15 PM
I don't think it's an acronym.

Other than to the front of the house (where restrictions apply), I'm not sure if I'd get much benefit.

There'll be I time, I'm sure, where the argument to allow beats the impact on appearance of the house. But I've got bigger things to address thanks to the previous owner.
November 25, 2025 at 5:26 PM
Don't think I'll be allowed to have panels on my roof. Damn conservation area.
November 25, 2025 at 5:03 PM
It's right there.
