While playing Moon River from @brunocathala.bsky.social and @yohanservais.bsky.social my friend messaged me this and I totally agree! We're both vegetarian, but we often use meat as a metaphor for the depth and approachability of the decisions in games. This is our way of saying it's perfection! 🌛🏞️

An absolutely incredible Wikipedia contributor who goes by the name of MarkiPoli has added these phenomenal alluvial diagrams to the Wikipedia pages for every federal electorate in Australia (as far as I can tell) showing the 2022 election results. If you read this Markipoli, thank you! #auspol

Do rhinos work? Rhino Hero is very good! Otherwise Animal Upon Animal Dinos is another great one! (Haba make great games for this age)

@fiamh.bsky.social was kind enough to add a copy of 12 Chip Trick from Mandoo Games and Japanese designer Root to a recent Portland Game Collective order for me, so we got to play it together with @meampongan.bsky.social and it was a blast! Felt like a very different type of trick taking game

Eurovision on Tour in Melbourne tonight was a really fun show! I'm so glad it was able to come all the way down here and I'm praying it becomes an annual event! 🙏❤️

I still haven't managed to win when playing Steffen Benndorf & Reinhard Staupe's The Game Extreme from NSV, but I'll keep trying! I was lucky enough to pick it up for $10 second hand from a local board game market and have taken every opportunity to play it since

I will take every opportunity to play Cat in the Box from publisher Bezier Games and veteran trick taking designer Muneyuki Yokouchi (横内宗幸)! I love how accessible it is to players new to trick taking! 🐈⬛➡️📦
