Disney Ambassador teams have been revealed around the globe at the various Disney Theme Parks & Resorts. The final team has been announced this week, and that is for Hong Kong Disneyland. Hong Kong Disneyland announced that its 2026–2027 Disney Ambassadors will be Charlotte Wong and Daniella Rocca. These new Disney Ambassadors will officially begin their term in their new roles on January 1, 2026.

More information about the transformation of the Downtown Disney District is being shared. Disney announced today that a new gastropub will be a part of this transformation. This will be Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby. It will be found on the top level of the new home of the Earl of Sandwich. The creators of the Earl of Sandwich and world-famous Chef Gordon Ramsay are developing this all-new British-themed gastropub.

The Walt Disney World Resort has raised prices on all of its Annual Passes. It also raised prices on its tickets and other offerings. The news comes as Disneyland Resort also adjusted prices for its tickets and Magic Keys. The Annual Passes went up in price by a range of $20 - $80. Renewal rates for the Sorcerer Pass and Pixie Pass did not change.

The Disneyland Resort has raised prices on some of its Magic Keys. This comes as the domestic Disney parks update their pricing structures on entry fees. Of the four levels of Magic Key, two types saw their price increase. Two types remained at the same price. The Inspire and Believe Keys both saw prices increase, with Enchant and Imagine remaining the same.

Riders in select Chevrolet, Cadillac, and GMC SUVs can now watch Disney+ while going for a ride. The addition of the streaming service to select vehicles was announced by GM. The company touted 40 years of partnership with Disney as they delighted families with their collaborations. Author Katherine Rundell's book series Impossible Creatures has had its rights acquired by Disney. This expansive deal includes a first-look relationship with her production company, Impossible Films. The deal will also have Rundell writing and developing feature film screenplays for the first two books in her blockbuster fantasy series. “When I read Impossible Creatures, I knew it belonged here at Disney.

On this day in 1990, the first annual American Teacher Awards was held in Hollywood. Disney created the awards show to honor outstanding teachers who embody the very best of the profession. A total of 36 honorees were selected from 185,000 nominations. The teachers themselves then selected the Outstanding Teacher of the Year. Celebrity presenters included Carol Burnett, Robin Williams, and Oprah. The Disney Channel broadcast the show that November.

Walt Disney World Resort continues to add to its cold brew lineup. In all four parks, there are new cold brew offerings to be enjoyed. There are also new cold foam offerings! On top of their being new drinks, there are also new locations to get caffeinated throughout Walt Disney World Resort! A massive LEGO Death Star set is now available on DisneyStore.com. The set has over 9,000 pieces and is built in a way that allows for seeing inside the gargantuan space station. The set includes 38 minifigures, including Luke Skywalker (Jedi and Stormtrooper versions), Han Solo (two versions), Princess Leia, Chewbacca, and Darth Vader. There are also two LEGO droid figures.

The Disney Hercules Original London Cast Recording is being released digitally, on CD, and on vinyl in the coming months. Disney Theatrical Group and Disney Music Group/Walt Disney Records will release the original London cast recording of Hercules digitally on October 10th, on CD on November 21st, and vinyl on December 5th. The new album will include songs from the 1997 Walt Disney Animation Studios film of the same name that were written by Alan Menken and David Zippel.

Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular is the fireworks show at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. The fireworks show includes Mickey Mouse and other friends, along with lots of Halloween-themed music and moments. A large puppet of Jack Skellington from Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas also makes appearances! This is an incredible fireworks spectacular that shouldn't be missed when attending Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

Disney flourished during Eisner’s 21-year tenure, adding multiple theme parks, a cruise line, new television networks like ABC and ESPN, sports teams, and even the Muppets! He helped usher in the Disney Renaissance and solidified Disney as an entertainment giant. Sadly, missteps and misfortunes in the early 2000s led to a lack of confidence from the board, prompting Eisner's departure.

This video shows how to sketch, ink, and watercolor paint a pirate in the style of Marc Davis' beautiful concept art for Pirates of the Caribbean. A new poster and the release date for The Simpsons Movie sequel have been unveiled by Disney. In a post on social media, it was announced that the film will be arriving in theaters on July 23, 2027. There aren't any details known about the plot of this film yet. However, a poster was also shared by 20th Century Studios and Disney.
