today we collected a used and defective Litterrobot 3 incl a replacement motor for free. that was worth the 2x 75 minutes drive to the Ahrtal. 👍👍 upcycling ahead. 😎 the device has already received a 1.5 litre bath of desinfection fluid.

bought an original motor replacement kit for the litterrobot 3, manufacturing date 2025.01.01.
again, like the motors in the robots from 2018, only some drops of transparent grease inside that make it look dry. the noise was horrible. I fixed this with Liqui Moly Long-Life Grease.

the gearbox of our second Litter Robot 3, made in 2018. No lubrication at all. yes, it has not run dry, it's always been this way. they lubricated the outside of the box which is totally the best idea I can think of.
