I get this. In a similar place currently. And actually need to do some worm tomorrow too 🫠 try and find some space to do something for yourself even if it’s a short walk or a bath or listening to a podcast.

I get a bit like that too. Have learned to compromise with some aspects I don’t think for the convenience of it.

Doing one of those meal plan delivery things (HelloFresh currently but I’ve dabbled with others) has been a godsend for this kind of thing; I barely think about it now, just make whatever the next card stipulates 😂

I’m not sure they care insomuch as they’re just nosy bastards and assume a tie = something interesting rather than a sartorial choice.

We have a militant receptionist at ours who seems to be something of ninja at convincing you to book your next appointment before you leave, sign up for the hygienist and pay about seven different holding deposits.
